Considering Surgery for Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis?

Even with proper use of the SpineCor Dynamic Brace, approximately 10% of idiopathic adolescent scoliosis cases will progress to the point where surgery is the only option.  However, in the vast majority of cases, we recommend that surgery be used as a last resort!  We recommend open communication with your surgeon and a plan of co-management in order to get the best results for you or your child.

A Comparison of Thoraco Lumbo Sacral Orthosis (TLSO) and SpineCor Treatment of Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis Patients Using the Scoliosis Research Society Standardized Criteria Click here to view pdf  The SpineCor Dynamic Corrective Brace was found to be equally effective at treating adoloscent idiopathic scoliosis as the rigid TLSO Brace.
